Farm Share

Have you ever joined a CSA or farm share and been overwhelmed by food you don't know how to cook, or know your family won't eat? Or maybe you leave town every summer for a month and don't want to lose out on weeks of produce you've already paid for?

Our market-style Farm Share provides convenience, flexibility, and choice. Oh, and a sweet discount.

Customers join with a $500 payment, which establishes a "tab" with us. That tab can be used when you want, for what you want. We raise pastured pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs, 100% grass-fed beef, and a wide range of organically grown vegetables. Everything you purchase goes on your tab, with a 10% discount thrown in.

Shop when you want. Take home what you want. Join any time.

Our Summer Market-Style Share season runs from May-March, and if you use up your whole balance before the start of next year’s season, you continue to receive a 10% discount, but pay as you go.

Share Credit can be used either at the Petworth Farmers Market or at our seasonal farmstand. On farm customers are also invited to stop by ANYTIME to use our farm store on the honor system.

What's more, we host several potlucks, farm tours, and fun farm events over the course of the season for Farm Share members.

Winter Sales Days

After many years of offering a “winter farm share” we are switching to more flexibility by offering open sales days on the farm and winter deliveries by preorder to Petworth and North Chevy Chase.

Winter produce is often a revelation to our customers: the carrots are crisper, the spinach is sweeter, the lettuce keeps for weeks in the fridge. Much as we'd like to take credit, this is nature's way of surviving a frost--anything hardy enough to survive sub-freezing temperatures does so by adding sugars to its cells. Our unheated greenhouses warm up by day and freeze by night, leading to produce that is unlike anything you've eaten before.

We no longer offer a boxed winter share. You can, however, join our “Farm Share” program this fall with a one time payment of $400. This sets up your “tab” which you can then spend on anything that we sell. We’ll deduct your selections from your balance with a 10% member discount.

But you don’t need to join to get our food. Just sign up for our newsletters and you’ll know when we’re open and what we have to offer.

Will we spam you every other day? Nope. We’re here to grow food, not sit at a computer.

We aim to open our farm and to make deliveries once per month in winter months. Sign up for the newsletter that matches your location to be kept in the loop!

Just like your favorite take-out, we deliver.

We were offering delivery by pre-order back when “Pandemic” was just a boardgame!

How it works:

Find your nearest drop site and the next delivery date.
Shop our convenient online store.
Check out and pay securely online through Paypal.
We pack your order and bring it to the drop site on the appointed date and time.
You collect your food (no touching! no cash!).
You feast!

Hey! Help us plan for demand by joining our Summer Farm Share! You choose what you want, when you want, order online, and we deliver to one of our drop sites on one of our pick up days. The only difference is that you pay upfront to create a “tab”, rather than when you place your order (and we give you a 10% discount on all of your selections!).
