We sell our turkeys fresh, not frozen! This means that we will NOT have turkeys available for pick up prior to Saturday November 22nd, and that we will not know the precise sizes until the weekend of pick up. We ask that customers have some flexibility in their size preferences! Turkeys cost $7/pound, though we do offer a discounted price of $6.50/lb for customers without a size preference (thank you!). Pick up at Petworth adds $1.00 per pound. CSA members get 10% off of Thanksgiving turkeys.

A few turkey FAQs:

• Turkeys come with neck, heart, and liver all inside the body cavity (please remove before cooking!)

• We process our turkeys on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Provided they are stored properly (in an appropriately cold refrigerator!) you can expect them to be fresh for cooking on Thanksgiving day.

• The $40 Turkey deposits is non-refundable and will be applied toward the total cost of your bird.

• You will receive an email alerting you to your turkey’s precise size and the balance due on Friday, after we have processed, packaged, and allocated all birds.

• MOST IMPORTANTLY—If you do not get an automated email receipt, you did not complete the transaction and we will therefore not have a record of your order. Please check your email for that receipt! If you are concerned that the order did not go through you can email us and we will confirm.
